This shouldn’t bug as much as it does, but goddamn I am seeing a fuckload of people talking about how they don’t like certain Pokemon types in their posts for POKEDDEX.

This isn’t “Air Your Grievances With Pokemon Every Day In December Extra Xtreme”. We’re celebrating the games. I’m all too aware that with 649 of them there’s bound to be a lot of different opinions, I could talk your ear off about Pokemon that I hate, but please, when you’re making a POKEDDEX post, try and keep the negative stuff to yourself. It’s about things in the games we LIKE.

That said, even if you are making some sort of backhanded compliment in your post, I’ll gladly gloss over it if you post some of your art and I like it. But that brings me to another thing, which is people who are not drawing the Pokemon.

If you post someone else’s artwork, especially the official artwork, you’re either being lazy or you’re lacking confidence in your art. Let me tell you something about POKEDDEX: it’s okay if your art isn’t great. All that matters is that you drew it yourself because you like a game series and are excited to be part of a group of people who are celebrating the same game. You could draw a ten second doodle on a piece of lined paper and take a picture of it with your camera phone and it would still be better than posting someone else’s artwork.

Still seeing a lot of both of these. :/
